Terms and Conditions for The Dealmakers
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and services. By accessing or using The Dealmakers, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. General Information
The Dealmakers (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an online platform facilitating mergers and acquisitions, investor connections, startup engagements, and related services. These Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to the relationship between The Dealmakers and its users. Any deviating terms proposed by users will not apply unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
As a platform provider, The Dealmakers does not act as a broker, agent, or legal representative of any party, nor does it own, sell, or resell any products or services. Our responsibility is limited to providing access to the platform and facilitating communication between users.
The Dealmakers reserves the right to restrict, modify, or discontinue services due to updates, maintenance, or technical reasons. The platform may also contain links to third-party websites or resources, for which we hold no liability regarding their content or availability.
2. Eligibility
- Users must be at least 18 years old.
- By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Only businesses, partnerships, or legal entities are eligible to use the platform; consumer use is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to refuse access to any user at our sole discretion.
3. User Responsibilities
When using The Dealmakers, you agree to:
- Use the platform exclusively for lawful purposes aligned with its intended business use.
- Avoid uploading or sharing any content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or in violation of third-party rights.
- Protect your account credentials and ensure no unauthorized access to your account.
- Comply with all applicable UAE laws, regulations, and tax obligations relevant to your platform use.
Users are prohibited from redistributing, copying, or making public any confidential information obtained through the platform.
4. Content Ownership and Use
- All content on the platform, including text, graphics, software, and logos, is the property of The Dealmakers or its licensors.
- Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant The Dealmakers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and promote the content.
5. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
- Information shared through the platform, including business details, documents, and deal data, must be treated as confidential.
- Users may not disclose confidential information without prior consent from the disclosing party.
6. Payments and Subscription
- Payments for services are due upon contract conclusion unless otherwise specified.
- Subscription terms will automatically renew unless canceled in writing at least 14 days before the term’s end.
- If two payments are missed, all remaining fees for the contract term will become due immediately.
7. Limitation of Liability
- The Dealmakers does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content provided by users or third parties.
- We are not liable for damages resulting from decisions made based on platform information.
- Liability for damages is limited to intentional or grossly negligent actions and excludes indirect or consequential losses.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The platform may include links to third-party websites or services. The Dealmakers assumes no responsibility for their content, accuracy, or practices.
9. Termination of Services
- The Dealmakers reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for violating these Terms and Conditions.
- Users with terminated accounts will lose access to the platform, and refunds will not be issued.
10. Data Protection and Communication
- Users are responsible for providing accurate contact information and updating changes promptly.
- Communication related to contracts will be sent to the registered email address, and users are expected to regularly check their accounts.
11. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be communicated in advance, and continued platform use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
13. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain enforceable.
- The Dealmakers does not participate in consumer dispute resolution procedures and is not obligated to do so.
14. SEPA Direct Debit Mandate
If users opt for SEPA direct debit payments, they authorize The Dealmakers to debit their account. Pre-notifications will be sent 14 days before payment is collected. Users are responsible for maintaining sufficient funds and will cover any costs arising from non-payment or failed transactions.
15. Member Benefits
- The Dealmakers may offer member benefits, providing access to exclusive services or products at no additional cost.
- Conditions and timing for these benefits are outlined in the specific terms each subscriber must accept when activating the benefit.

16. Code of Conduct
- Users are expected to maintain a collaborative and respectful environment.
- Confidentiality and privacy of fellow members must be safeguarded.
- Integrity, professionalism, and respectful communication are mandatory.
- Active participation, such as posting business opportunities, is encouraged.
- Timely responses to connection requests and messages are appreciated.
